Údarás na Gaeltachta provided a production facility for the company and as it expanded extra space and grant aid was provided based on the company’s needs at that time. There is a strong workforce of over 80 people in this company, most of them are university graduates and the language and cultural plan is in place there. The company’s name is a reference to the Aran Islands, a collection of three islands situated in Galway Bay and that are directly across the sea from where the factory is located.
